I recently tested out LLMLingua, a technique for compressing prompts in large language models (LLMs). The results were super impressive.
Originally, my prompt had a whopping 12,388 tokens. After compressing it with LLMLingua, the prompt size shrunk to just 458 tokens! That’s a compression ratio of 27.05x.
